Stopped by here to have a quick bite before the movies to order some tacos. We ordered asada, pastor and lengua and they were alll so good! I loved how they didn't skimp out the meat so 4 tacos was just enough for me. I'd probably come back here to try some other things on the menu since they had so many options

The regular taco place around the corner I would say. The tacos are good but a little oily. We had the Al Pastor and the Carne Asada and both were good but not a difference in flavor. The best was the green salsa which was tangy and spicy. Tacos cane with some veggies (cucumbers and radishes) and of course lime wedges. Nothing overwhelming, but solid.

I really enjoyed the food here. The photo of the sope up on the wall did it not justice. Was slow to prep but so worth the wait. It was 3 decent sized sipes. With everything needed for topping and the green salsa was yummy but omg so Spicey. My friend and I ordered two full meals and the total was $25 so budget friendly. I am voting the sopes the asolute best that I had for home made style sopes and in general. Cons: sorry even when I give 5 stars there's always a con: there was only one clean(ish) table in the whole restaurant! I also didn't care for the chosen tv entertainment I would choose a different channel for sure. Another con, more English please. I speak perfect Spanish but not everyone does.

This place is not the best looking inside but the food is pretty good for Mexican joint. Came here for lunch with my mom and enjoyed some pupusas, tacos and a huarache. +The pupusa was beans and cheese , it was cooked well and the curtido was a good addition. -The alpastor taco is a miss, the pork had a heavy cinnamon after taste that was not good to my palate. +However, the carne asada huarache was a hit! It is pretty big and comes with all kinds of stuff. It has a layer of Monterey Jack cheese, refried beans, steak, sour cream, lettuce, onions, queso fresco and grilled nopales with jalapeños. You also get a side of cucumbers, radishes, limes and salsas! Would definitely reorder the huarache here. {See picture for reference}.

For many people, restaurants must have good food, drinks and so and so. But for me, I strongly support family-owned and family-operated businesses. They focus everything in one business and not having company(s) from other parts of the globe to make decisions. This taqueria/restaurant in the peninsula, located in a plaza, also has a grocery store and bakery linked with them. The restaurant cooks food prepared family-style. The owner of these connected businesses probably do all the shopping for them. These tasks are long and hard work. I was at the taqueria for an early lunch and I tried the Grilled steak super burrito. For an affordable $9.00, the grilled steak was cooked their family-way with fresh ingredients and spices wrapped in a flour tortilla. The meat may not be grilled or tastes like many of the other taquerias, but it is cooked with family-love. The restaurant may not deck out much with decorations and other cultural surroundings. But I just enjoyed the food made simply by the family.

There are many taquerias in Mt. View, but Super Taco El Conrro is one of my favorites. Their grilled chicken tacos are fantastic. I think there is something in the way they season the meat that gives it extra flavor. But whatever it is, it stands out. The corn tortillas were slighty crispy with a hint of oil. The chopped onions and cilantro were fresh. All that was needed was a squeeze of lime and a pinch of salt. The folks at El Conrro don't add the salsa automatically. There is a salsa station where you can add your own (green or red), along with chopped radishes, jalapenos and tortilla chips. I had two helpings of the chips and stopped there, although I didn't want to. BTW, the salsas (green or red) are quite hot. I tried both and was moaning quietly at my table as I ate. It was a little sad, but I couldn't stop dipping my chips into them. Thankfully, they have a water cooler and I had three cups while there. All in all, this a great spot to satisfy your taco fix. FYI, if you're heading north on California you should pull into first driveway where there is a Mexican market. There's place of spots. The second driveway only has two spots and I was almost blocked in when a service truck parked next to me.
